PM update: slight swell increase

Your fevered correspondent dragged his sorry carcass up into the crow’s nest for a look at the surf situation and can report that, as expected, things have picked up a bit. Not hugely mind you, but definitely into the surfable range at spots such as Dee Why. The Sydney MHL buoy shows that the average period has bumped up from around 7 to near 9 seconds and that the average size is getting toward the 2 metre mark at sea.
Should mean a few more options this arvo compared to this morning.
Groan… back to the sick bed…
