Arvo update
Posted on August 27th, 2008 in At large, North Narrabeen.Hello Friends,
Well, it hasn’t improved this afternoon. Wind is out of the S to SE at 15-20 kts or thereabouts. And average period of the sub-2 metre swell is now around 7 seconds. Dribble in a word.
Kinda what was expected.
I’m not overly hopeful about tomorrow’s prospects. Could be a good work day…
Have yourself a top old evening!
Get ‘em while you can
Posted on August 27th, 2008 in Dee Why.Hello Friends,
Little SE swell left this morning. It’s only about a metre out at sea, but the average period is still around the 9 second mark, so there are still a few waist to chest high sets around the place. The trend is for it to get smaller though, so I’d be heading out this morning if I could.
We’re set to have SW winds building through the day. As I write this a little before 0700, there’s not much of anything, but the Bureau is calling for 15-25kts later.
Will try to update things again later…
Go well!

Japanese Greeting.
Posted on August 27th, 2008 in Bondi, Bronte, Tama.As they say in Japan when answering the phone, “mushi mushi”. That’s what this wind is doing to the little swell that is here, turning it into mush. Bronte reef slightly protected but not worth risking a wet wet suit for tomorrow.

Posted on August 27th, 2008 in Central Coast, Surf Reports.Fine and cool on the Central Coast this Wednesday morning. The swell is inconsistent and smooth at 2 – 3 feet from the east southeast. There is a light northwest breeze forecast to go southerly later. High tide 0515 and low tide around 1045. Local barometer 1018 hpa, 67% humidity, 10 degrees C. Have a good one!
