on friday at 530 pm: alas, almost lake-like at our rivermouth point, under very low tide, with only hosts of white gulls, forlornly awaiting the surf, across cobbled reefs laid bare – at the esteemed Chula bistro, i was told that the same doleful conditions were likely to prevail at the lost village beach, up the straits and much closer to open ocean, so i wll refrain from that extra journey for a day or two – somewhat agitated, fluctuating weather: marine winds at the mouth of the straits are southeast, only to a meagre 15 knots and subsiding – please stay tuned …..
