Hello Friends,
As of midnight the average height of the 6 sec period east windswell was only a metre, but 9 hours later, the direction has switched to the SSW and the average size has jumped to 2 metres. Whilst the period has bumped up slightly to around 7 seconds, the swell is coming from the wrong direction to be much felt in Sydney.
If you can find something rideable, I tips my lid to ya!
Not much wind around this morning. The Bureau’s call is for S-SW 15-20 kts backing off as the morning goes along, then swinging S-SE, before going around to the NE at 10-15 kts.
Not too encouraging for surfers it has to be said. I’ll head out on some errands shortly and if I find anything, will report back… in the meantime, have yourself a top old day!
