Hi all,
A few more contributions have come in via the submission form. We’ve got a site in Devon, UK, a bodyboarder spot,
Talking it up in Devon (sharkbait.co.uk)
Submitter Dan writes: “I used to live on the southcoast in the UK and surf there from a young age – I say surf more like mushburgers, but was great fun growing up there. I used to check this website alot as a kid – a real community on here and because waves are few and far between – keeps everyone very very keen. Might not be what your after, but might give you 5 minutes of fun!! it has 2 links which are also good to filf (local shaper) www.filf.co.uk and a shop in devon (that does a daily surf report/cam) www.croyde-surf-cam.com ”
Bodyboarder haven (transitsurf.com)
Matt K sent us a link to what is presumably one of his favourite bodyboard sites. Transitsurf is your basic blog style site (y’know, like this one!). It covers off misc bits of news from around the world of bodyboarding. I think they’re pretty new and I’m not sure if they’ve quite figured out their focus. They invite user content, so maybe they’ll get a clearer purpose as they go along. Some damned impressive trailers on the site for a new bodyboarder epic called Roam II.
A WA original (srosurf.com)
There’s only one Marz and he’s been running the fiercely independent srosurf.com since forever. Long time ago he even graced our pages with a regular contribution (you’re always welcome back mate!). His reporting style is factual and no one quite has the Marz writing style. He covers off the metro, Mandurah and Margaret’s surf reports on a daily basis. If you’re in WA and you don’t know this one, hang your head in shame!
Neo vintage boards (surfysurfy.net)
When Peter sent this one in for consideration I thought it was just someone looking for free advertising. And maybe it is, after all it’s the blog for Moonlight Glassing Co. in Leucadia California. Anyhoo, I had a scroll down the long page and there are some real purty boards there pardner, so even though it’s a nekked ploy to get your hard-earned, I am a sucker for fine handcrafted boards that I will never in a million years be able to own and therefore I’m tossing in this link for my fellow old-school fans.
Gotta get at least one vid in, so here is one almost everybody’s seen. Yeah, I know, I know… so don’t watch it okay? But for those who’ve never seen it… or those who just want to enjoy again, here it is…

C’mon! You must have a few shareable ones! Why not use the form below to send ’em along for our consideration?
