New south swell’s here — lotsa waves at Dee Why
Posted on November 24th, 2008 in Surf Reports. At 0600 it was still pretty tame here with only a SUP guy at the Point getting a few waist high things but over the past hour, it’s ramped right up. Head high and bigger sets at The Point, even bigger the further up the beach you go. Seeing the swell is dead S, Longy will be picking up the brunt of the swell. Wind is from the SW so it’s clean at the Point. Crowd of a dozen+ already gathered, snaring some nice sets. Weather should remain relatively nice today, despite that ugly black mass off the coast at the moment.
Cheers,
Rob
