Posted on November 25th, 2008 in Big Picture, Dee Why.Hello Friends,

0640: fun size sets, but well populated.
Swell is still hanging in there for Sydney surfers as we kick off the only ever Tuesday 25 November 2008 that will ever exist. According to the MHL buoy, yesterday’s south swell is still close to 4 metres with an average period of 10 seconds. If the trends from the buoys down south are anything to go by, we should see a gradual downward trend through the day, but it won’t go flat.
Lots of folk in the water along the Dee Why stretch. Looked as though the crowd to good set ratio is skewed toward the former, so great patience will be required as the limited resource gets shared around. Although the swell’s dead south, an average period of 10 seconds is helping it fill into some stretches that might not otherwise be seeing much.

0640: all the point locals are out this morning
Happily, the S-SE wind is expected to peak at 13-18kts, before decreasing to 10-15 kts later. And tomorrow, while the swell will be much smaller, the wind is also expected to be only 5-10 kts.
High tide was around 0620 and low is just before 1300.

Posted on November 25th, 2008 in Advertorial, Local Colour, News Stories, Top stories.RealSurf would like very much to help Friend of RealSurf and longtime RealSurf graphic designer, Tim Q.
He needs to find the right person to share studio space:
Creative Suite has space for 1 or 2 in our Manly studio.
It would suit a creative industry freelancer or small business. You might be a web developer, an animator, a director, or something of the sort. We’d like to keep it creative, and would look to use your talents along the line.
There’s an adjoined meeting room, kitchen stuff, and a massive wrap around balcony ready for multiple concurrent cricket matches, summer bbq’s, and glimpses of the harbour if your neck is long enough. Rent includes ADSL2 internet if you want.
We like a bit of music, don’t smoke, go to the beach at lunch, go to the pubs across the road at will, eat wherever we so please, and generally feel that our studio is the wonderful part of a life of work.
If you’re interested, give us a shout on 9977 8828 or through our website @ www.creativesuite.com.au. It’s prettty much ready to go when you are.

Posted on November 25th, 2008 in Mona Vale.Same deal as yesterday folks, MV is out of the picture when it comes to finding good waves this morning, it may be better later on when the swell backs off but i’d be hitting the protected south ends if you wanna surf the beachies today!
Posted on November 25th, 2008 in Bondi, Bronte, Tama. The only place surfable this morning is Bronte reef and everybody knows. It was crowded at 6am. Everywhere else good size but just falling over itself like a kid coming home from his school formal.
Posted on November 25th, 2008 in Surf Reports. Posted on November 25th, 2008 in Central Coast, Surf Reports.Overcast, dry and mild on the Central Coast this Tuesday morning. The swell is messy with a fair bit of water movement at 3 – 4 feet + from the southeast. There is a light south southwest breeze. High tide 0720 and low tide around 1355. Local barometer 1008 hpa, 77% humidity, 17 degrees C. Have a good one.
Posted on November 25th, 2008 in Surf Reports.Still plenty of headhigh swell around, though it continues to look messy at most places. Obviously I’m not the only one thinking this, since so few people are outr surfing this morning
