Posted on January 17th, 2009 in Surf Reports.on friday afternoon, plenty of long, shapely, end-of-swell lines rolling in to the spit – on this basis, expect good waveriding at our rivermouth point and further up the straits – weeks of storms and flooding have given way to chilly and clear – hurrah: gale warning in effect at the straits mouth – marine winds easterly to 35 knots – please stay tuned ….

There is a light to moderate south southeast breeze. Low tide 0755 and high tide around 1350. Local barometer 1015 hpa, 72% humidity, 17 degrees C. Have a good weekend.
