Yes folks it was a day contrasts In Byron Bay Today. Squalling winds, sunshine dramatic rain storms, one could be forgiven for not getting into it. But I love it; it’s the perfect metaphor for the character of Byron Bay itself. After all this is place of extraordinary contrasts; geologically, ecologically, sociologically and economically, so a day of meteorological contrasts feels right at home to me. Anyway it made for some really nice uncrowded little waves and some stunning light shows, while the wind feathered of sweet south swell lines as they refracted into the bay. Quite simply, it was really beautiful In Byron Bay Today.
