Wednesday on the beaches

Hello Friends,
Will go out and about for a closer look in a few minutes. But the first impressions are not too exciting. Looks as though there might be some waist high things on offer down toward Dee Why centre though. The MHL data for Sydney shows the primary swell direction is out of the SSE and the average height at sea is around 1.5 metres. At midday yesterday it seemed as though things might be on the improve period-wise, but it peaked at 9 seconds and is now back to about 8,

So, it does not appear that we’re getting very much of a south pulse.

Here’s the Bureau’s call:

Wednesday until midnight: Wind: SE 10/15 knots, tending NE in the afternoon.Sea: 1 to 1.5 metres. Swell: S 1.5 to 2 metres.
Thursday: Wind: N/NE 10/15 knots, increasing to 15/20 knots.Sea: 1 to 2 metres. Swell: SE 1 to 1.5 metres.
Friday: Wind: NE 10/15 knots.

Back with a few pics soon…
