Smaller but not flat

Hello Friends,

Definitely smaller this morning. But there were a few folks in the water at Dee Why beach rustling up some waist to chest high sets. The MHL data shows the swell is just a touch off SSE at a bit better than 9 seconds apart and averaging around two metres. Wind is out of the south at about 10 kts to start.

Here’s the latest call from the Bureau:

Tuesday until midnight: Wind: S/SE 15/20 knots.Sea: 1 to 2 metres.Swell: S/SE 2 metres.
Wednesday: Wind: S/SE 10/15 knots. Sea: to 1 metre. Swell: S about 2 metres.
Thursday: Wind: Variable 5/10 knots, tending NE 10/15 knots during afternoon.

BTW, if you’re near a tv at 0800 or so, Sunrise may have an interview with Mick Fanning who is currently posting the odd tweet about his activities and has just said he’ll be on at about that time. Reckons it’s pretty cold down that way as well.

(If anybody down that way wants to get a bit of exposure for their website in exchange for eyewitness reports on RealSurf, lemme know via the feedback form.)

Here’s a pic…

Not spectacularly powerful looking or anything, but still surfable.
