What a great weekend! So what if Huey didn’t deliver as expected – the sun shone, the wind blew offshore and there were waves! I burnt a bit of petrol cruising round...If you haven’t seen it yet, Layne Beachley at Cape Solander (video hosted on surfline.com)(aka “ours”). It was shot by none other than Tim Bonython. Very, very impressive pit!

That one wave at Ours by Layne, did a hell of a lot more than the 7 titles won whilst surfing 2 foot slop – go Layne!
