Sunday shooting diary: Dee Why & Gardens

If you were out at any of the spots below during the times shown, you might want to have a squizz at the pics to see if I got any of your waves. Lotsa nice looking waves too if you just feel like a bit of a browse through Huey’s work on a classic winter’s day…
As usual my approach was to try to take good snaps of regular people. There are a few hotshots in amongst it, but mostly these are my efforts to find the peak moments in ordinary surfers’ waves… maybe one or two of them are you… ![]()
