Midday update- The high tide has worked a treat with a lovely A frame at Queenie dominating proceedings. Its still a solid double overhead on the sets but the long lulls make the paddle out bearable – if only just!! Well worth it if you can scam sometime away from the office for a session. The wind has stayed away and long glassy walls are the order of the day – as long as know one drops in you will be one very happy camper.
Fantastic conditions along the beaches this morning. A shame that Manly is not breaking as perfect as it sometimes does. Its still got some good size on it at a solid 4 foot with a few bigger ones thrown in. Longer lulls between sets this morning and it definitely feels like its dropping in size. I surfed the Bower which was a little bit of an error with the bumpy wave face making the takeoff’s a tad exciting and tricky. If you haven’t been out yet I would advise ya to drop whatever you are doing and head to the beach as there are good waves to be found. Enjoy.
