"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Nice morning, but

Hello Friends,

For some reason I couldn’t spot anyone in the water at the southern end of Dee Why beach when I climbed up to take a picture at around 0830. The latest run of data from MHL shows that the swell at sea is around about the same size it was yesterday, but Huey’s bumped up the period setting by around a second to 10s. Interestingly, there’s also some 14 sec component in the mix so I’d guess there should be a little something at spots with exposure to the SSE. There were some knee to waist high things as the tide dropped yesterday, so I reckon there’s at least an equal chance of that happening today as well.

Outlook for the next four days is pretty ordinary as far as the surf prospects go. The models are showing basically small and from the south. We’re getting a little taste of spring I’d say…

Have yourself a top old day!

Tide was low at 0626, and low is at noon.
