small and clean
Posted on July 30th, 2009 in Manly.Well after a few days in the nations capital anything would look like waves to me. This morning its lovely and clean and very smooth. The banks are not doing too much though with this low tide causing the majority of the small waves to close out. There are still a few that don’t but its not looking that flash to fair. Sets are knee to waist high and a distinct feel of south in them. The bouys confirm this. I would think that you would be better rewarded with a trip to the beaches slightly north of here which would be picking up a bit more size. No prizes for which ones I mean. A great morning to be down the beach with a brillant sunrise and the normal amount of early morning joggers doing their morning workout whilst the boxer’s get amongst it on the grass. So much for winter. Forecast is for light offshores all day and a hopefully building long period south swell. Have a great day.
