Posted by: mercury on August 1st, 2009on friday at 3 pm: very small at the lost village beach, just a semi-circular little wash under a choppy high tide, sweeping over the innermost shoals and boulders at the central surfing spot – returning eastward past our rivermouth point, the lines were nudging a little higher, under increasing winds, and finally some cloud cover after weeks of hideous clear skies and beating merciless california-style heat: the global warming nightmare, in north america’s only and way-too-teeny rainforest …. wave conditions may improve suddenly – please stay tuned – no weather forecasts, beach cams or Flobots banner today, alas, since i am hobbled with an ancient computer, pending a windows restoration miracle disc, courtesy of the wonderful people at Symantec Corporation …
