3:30 update – with the higher tide it just got better and better. Seems like its dropped a touch from this mornings size but still some pretty chunky but very clean sets coming through. The wind has stayed light offshore with a few glassy periods thrown in as well. Basically its going off and you should stop whatever you are doing and head to the beach. I am knackered and have effectively done my dash for the day.
Well what a start to the day. Manly really loves swell from the easterly direction and this morning its no different. Its on fire! 1.5 times to double overhead takeoffs on the sets and its hollow and clean. Its not the most perfect of days but pretty darn close. It still seems a little lumpy at times and quiet peaky in places but I am just being picky considering the marginal stuff we have we have had the last few weeks. Easily an 8 out of 10 day if not a 9. Wind is light offshore and the faces are super clean. Occasional closeouts are keeping the crowd honest which has steady built since first light this morning. Forecast is for light winds all day and so it looks like a super day to be working from home. Enjoy.
