A couple pics from this morning

Hi all,

Had to run errands this morning, so I took the camera with and grabbed a shot at Manly and Dee Why to share. Manly looked about the best of anywhere that I saw. However, at low tide the waves were very brief – take off, turn, shutdown basically. Curly was small and ordinary looking when I drove by and Dee Why was if anything smaller again. Went for a walk along the beach with a mate and managed to get a shot of a wave being caught up toward the pole. Very mild out with a bit of SW breeze to make strolling pleasant.

Manly looking the goods (very deceptive) around 0900.

Long wait for a quick little one like this up toward the pole at Dee Why.

Slumber time

Hello Friends,

Looks like a good morning to repair a pool or walk a dog.

Looks like a good morning to repair a pool or walk a dog.

Lookin’ marginal at Dee Why this morning. Swell’s not dissimilar in height and power to yesterday at this time, but the direction has gone from SE to E and that’s translating into smaller and weaker conditions for spots that don’t particularly like Huey’s current recipe.

From the look of the models, we’re heading into a period of very small, to flat conditions by late this week. Spring’s coming in, or perhaps we should call it Tugarah gunya’marra as this time of year is known to the D’harawal People.

Have yourself a great day!

It was an stunner, if not, a tad windy, In Byron Bay Today.  There was a reasonable metre and a half or so of east swell hitting the cape, and although I heard a few blokes muttering about the surf being no good. We managed to find some rideable waves. The wind was light and variable in the morning, but by lunch a strong northerly had found its rhythm and was howling  into the bay.  Now just a quick note on In Byron Bay Today reviews. Yesterday we went whale watching and today we went for a Shiatsu, to test these services for review. Both these services were excellent, so we’ve passed them to enter the site, their reviews will be appearing shortly. So keep an eye out because they will be making discounts available to you guys. Also they’ll be offering freebees for our subscriber’s lucky draw, so watch out for that too. Speaking of which, we drew a name on the weekend, to win five blocks of surf wax. The subscriber did not respond within twenty four hours, so we’ve drawn another name. You’ll find it hiding somewhere in the comments. Don’t forget to make sure you check our updates carefully for your chance to pick up freebees, In Byron Bay Today.
