Simply Sunday In Byron Bay Today.
Posted on October 26th, 2009 in Byron, Local Colour.Well it was just one of those classic almost Summer type of Sunday’s in Byron Bay today. No holidays, no festivals, no long weekends, and no special events, not many tourists. A simple sunny Sunday, with a little bit of swell and joyously warm weather. And didn’t the local families and the few visitors in town just lap it up. Quiet relaxing times, a few enjoyable slides, a bit of a float in the bay at high tide. While the smell of barbequing sausages gently wafts across the waves. It wasn’t big or particularly exciting, just relaxing and utterly beautiful, which is exactly the way this old salty dog loves it, In Byron Bay Today.
Get up early Sunday morning!
Posted on October 25th, 2009 in South Carolina.Tide comes in at 7:oo am which is just after sunrise. Durning the night, the winds will clock all the way around bringing off shore winds in the AM which should make for a glassy session in the morning before things turn from the NE.

some semblance of surfing
[/caption]Very ordinary! In Byron Bay Today’s Weekend Review.
Posted on October 25th, 2009 in Byron, Local Colour.Well guys it’s been a another stunner of a week with great weather for just about any outdoor activity you can think of the do in and around Byron Bay. The only thing it hasn’t been good for at all is surfing, and that’s a big call coming from us. We pretty much try to take a positive outlook at what’s available wave wise and make the best of it. On most days, you’ll find something rideable in or around the bay, provided you keep an open mind and a log in your quiver. But not this last week, this week there were a few small windows of opportunity, and that’s it. Now that didn’t stop us paddling out, getting wet and having a bit of fun, and it didn’t stop us from shooting. But it does mean that things are going to be pretty quiet around town until Huey hits the On Switch, In Byron Bay Today.
BSR – LEGIAN BALI – 24OCT2009
Posted on October 24th, 2009 in Surf Reports. It has potential
Posted on October 24th, 2009 in South Carolina. Here is the deal. Strong winds Saturday will kick up a 5 foot wind fetch. I am not sure if you will find this worth a ride, but Sunday the winds turn off shore and the fecth will still be around and should be good to go most of Sunday. Keep your fingers crossed.
