The Melbourne Cup may bring the nation to a halt everywhere else, but it was pretty much business as usual in Byron Bay today. It’s not that we don’t celebrate cup day here, we do, same as everyone else. It’s just the Byronian (Byron-Bohemian) lifestyle, whether lived as a resident or experienced as a visitor.
