Stormy Monday, In Byron Bay Today.
Posted by: Big Ben on November 10th, 2009No not the infamous pub cover band that traveled the east coast of Australia back in the early 80’s doing cover versions of Joe Cocker, Meatloaf, Super Tramp and the like. But, rather the fact that Huey was having a moody old Monday, with wild bursts of sunlight between rain and rumblings in between. We popped up to Bangalow for a quick meeting then bolted for town. Knowing that the swell would still be happening, and confident in the knowledge that although everywhere else within a sixty kilometre radius would be torn apart by today’s blow, Byron would still be half ok. We weren’t disappointed either; sure it’s was a tad lumpy and not quite as good as yesterday. But for those who bothered to look there were still some pretty sweet weekend leftovers, In Byron Bay Today.
