That Summer Feelin, In Byron Bay Today.
Posted by: Big Ben on December 4th, 2009Remember those amazing summer days when you were a grom? The sun shone all day, warm weather and water. The surf, not huge but it seemed about as perfect as it gets to you and mates, yeah? Well that’s the kind of day we had, well sort of a bit, in Byron Bay today. Yes it could have been less crowded than it was. But you know what? There were really good uncrowded waves to be had on the beachies, so if you didn’t go claim some who’s to blame for that? As for the crowd, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It’s not a competition out there. Want to claim priority for every wave? Then go claim it in a comp, leave the attitude at the door. If you’re out in the lineup and playing tough guy, sooner or later the act wears thin. So try and remember this. When you surf away from home, you’re in someone else’s home. How would you like to be treated at your home break? The answer is pretty obvious when you look at. So be cool folks, or better still be warm. In Byron Bay Today.
