Hope You All Had Great Christmas! From, In Byron Bay Today.
Posted by: Big Ben on December 26th, 2009Well folks it’s been a glorious week in Byron Bay. Right on cue, Huey backed off the northerlies and we’ve been blessed with light east to south easterly trade winds all week. Althouigh the northerlies returned today. Some folks have been calling it a no surf week, but I don’t know where they’ve been looking because we found waves every day. The Bay had some little logger waves peeling through and the open side has had some joyous beach break varying from chest to head height for the little white board crew. Anyone who’s been unhappy with the surf must have been unhappy to start with, because most folks we’ve come across this week couldn’t get over how beautiful it’s been. Ok congratulations to Mandy Carney who’s won a free sauna and spa, courtesy of The Kiva Spa at Mullumbimby.. Good on you Mandy, it pays to check the site. Now folks we’ve had so many emails wishing us a Merry Christmas and suggesting we give ourselves a break. So we’ve decided to do just that. We’re taking a couple of days off we’ll be putting another update live late on Monday night. So there’ll be a fresh update waiting for those of you who return to work on Tuesday the 29th of December. In the meantime we’ll continue to update our weather report every day. Finally from Yoko & Bear we’d like to wish you all a very warm, peaceful and swell filled Christmas break from, In Byron Bay Today.
