"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Warm one

Hello Friends,

Perfect beach weather but for us surfers, no real reason to take a board along. It’s looking like Lake Pacific out there. Yesterday morning there was still a bit of longer period stuff in the mix, but this morning the average height of the NE bump at sea is around the half metre mark and the period is a listless 6-7 seconds. A weak south change is working its way up the coast, but don’t expect any swell. From Eden to Byron, the data looks dire – under a metre with periods 6-7 sec range.

From the look of the latest run of WAM data, the flatness looks like persisting until midweek when we just might get a waist high S-SE pulse.

El Nino doesn’t seem to be doing the east coast any favours and our long term outlook remains for small to flat. If you want a wave, best to head down to Vicco, Tas or WA as they look set to have a run of sizable conditions.

Oh well… hang in there… Huey always comes back.
