On The Mend, In Byron Bay Today.
Posted by: Big Ben on February 23rd, 2010On The Mend, In Byron Bay Today. Well folks it’s really starting to look like we may be able to get back to live updates by as early as next week. We can’t yet replace it all yet, but we should be able to get enough to go live again. The donations keep rolling in and we keep getting closer to getting back out there and shooting. Got to be honest, I can’t wait, I’m going stir crazy couped up in this non aircon little sweatbox office waiting for glass for the car, and repeatedly writing about last week’s act of stupidity. I’d much prefer to be writing about what folks are doing out in the bay today, but just for now, still stuck in my own weird little world. Oh well, ‘C’est La Vie’ as they say. Whoever they may be, if I start thinking I know who ‘they’ are then we’ll all know I’ve been stuck in this room far too long J. On the flip side to all this, we always knew we had good traffic. But we didn’t realise quite how much our work meant to you guys. We’ve always tried to do our best, to give it some heart soul and some good old fashioned weirdness and irreverence at times. It’s been a radical trip to be so heavily supported. Of course most of you know by now that if you’ve donated you’re in with a chance to score a joyous wooden fish. Well we’ve got more good news; we had a very positive meeting with another local business today. There’s going to be a new dimension added to In Byron Bay Today very soon, but more on that later.
Don’t forget anyone who has donated $10 or more to our stolen camera gear fund will have their names handed over to go in the draw to score a Grown Surfboards Wooden Fish valued at $1800, the draw remains open until the fish is finished. This is all courtesy of Andrew Wells as a sign of his appreciation for you helping to save, In Byron Bay Today.
