You think Sydney’s cold in winter? Check out Nova Scotia.

According to this story from Canada’s CBC TV, Nova Scotia has some great waves during winter. But they’re just a wee bit chilly by Australian standards… an interesting little yarn about how a rural village called Lawrencetown Beach is benefiting from an influx of surfers. Lots of tough Canadian surfers and some very fun looking waves too…
