Well, I’ll have to take slight exception to Don’t report from earlier to say that I had a very worthwhile surf at Narrabeen at lunchtime (Sorry, no pics though)
Paddled out at the Point initially and got a few but it was pretty critical and the sets were actually a bit freaky–some in the overhead and half or more territory–and you couldn’t actually ride the big ones from the Point (closeouts) but if you sat in exactly the right place there were perfect, hollow barrels and some sensational rights at The Alley.
By 1pm it had gone a bit messy and by the time I got back to DY the Point there had also pretty much died. Still, if you’re keen there are waves about here, but it’s dropped off considerably since noontime.
