Why do you surf?
Posted by: Don on May 28th, 2010Last night I came across an interesting blog by a Santa Cruz surfer named Natalie Williford. She’s set herself a little challenge that I thought sounded kinda cool.
Basically she plans to ask surfers from her region about how surfing informs their lives.
In a way, it can be boiled down to a simple question:
What does surfing mean to you?
Why not use the comment form below* this post to give your own answer to that simple but profound question?

How does surfing inform my life?
Surfing has allowed me to become much more aware of the natural aspects of my environment.
I am fare more aware and exposed to the natural elements, much more in tune and conscious of changes, profound and subtle, positive and negative.
I see more beauty, more value and have become more concerned and more involved.
My life is richer, my relationships better, my body and mind healthier.
I can’t imagine life with out surfing.
