Twister rips through Lennox Head

A Google Maps image of the Lennox Head area hit hard by a wild storm this morning.
TWO people have been taken to hospital amid reports of widespread damage after a mini-tornado ripped through Lennox Head, northern NSW this morning.
The wild storm is reportedly heading up the coast, with reports of two twisters sighted off Byron Bay.
At Lennox Head, roofs were ripped off, people trapped in cars in rising flood waters and power lines felled during the freak storm, which hit at about 7.30am.
