The Saturday Post: Queenscliff / Bower – 5/6/10
Posted by: wozthatyou.com on June 5th, 2010It was a surprise not waking up to rain this morning after yesterday’s brutal onslaught. All the forecasts called for it for the foreseeable but now thankfully that’s all changed which means the weekend won’t be the total loss I was expecting.
Took a nice long walk this morning past Curly – not much happening there – Freshwater – promising – and had a look towards Queenscliff where the lines coming in suggested I should check it out. I did and Bower as well.
I hadn’t been to Bower for yonks and forgot how much fun it is to watch and shoot as the punters take on the vertical drop and then try to get shacked. This included Matty Bemrose and Nathan “Noodles” Webster. And thanks to Matty for wearing the Volcom iridescent green wetty which helped to brighten up the the shots!
You can check out all the action from Queenscliff here http://www.wozthatyou.com/portfolio100382.html and from Bower here http://www.wozthatyou.com/portfolio100383.html
Let’s hope for more of the same on Sunday.
Enjoy, Doug
