The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf Forecast issued Thursday 15 July 2010: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

Surf looks like coming up a bit tomorrow, courtesy of the fresh, cool bbrrreeze that’s been blowing from the South West… but most of the swell will initially be headed out to sea… (because the wind’s from the South West)…

Anyhoo, the swell will get dragged around to a more onshore direction and, with a variety of offshore winds (SW/W/NW) forecast for the early part of the weekend, it could be:

a)      fun size,

with

 b)    good conditions …

What more could you ask for…  (warmer weather ??) …We’ll just have to wait and see.

Surf:

Friday: around 2 metres South East.

Saturday: in the 1-2 metre range South East.

Sunday: ditto.

Monday:  up… toward the upper end of 1-2 metres South East

Tuesday through Thursday:  should be similar.

Water temperature is around 18-19.
