Dee Why: A few waves–swell on the rise.

Nothing to get too excited about at this stage, but there are a few waves around this morning. About a dozen punters on the Point at 0800 with some waist to chest high sets but it’s pretty slow and gutless for the most part. Should be bigger this afternoon but expect to see it accompanied by 15-20 knots of SSW wind.

    i have never seen you take an honest photo of the surf!! this is a surf report site not a site for you to deter people from surfing your local!!!…

    Hey Chad
    That’s a pretty serious allegation. It is groundless and completely wrong. I am an honest person and only ever do my best to accurately represent the conditions. Everyone who reports on the site knows accuracy is the most basic requirement of any report. Of course there are times when the surf conditions actually change between the time we report and when someone gets to the beach – but I think you knew that.
