Dee Why Point has been mobbed since just after first light today with everyone alert to the new swell arriving for the past five or six days. I counted 13 people sitting on First Rock at about 7am. At least 35 in the water on the Point alone. Sets are into the double overhead region and it’s continuing to build–forecast says it won’t peak until about 4pm today.
