South swell for the early

Hello Friends,

Swell perked yesterday and is pushing in from the south this morning at about two metres with a juicy 11 second average period. Judging from the wave buoy data coming out of the Batemans Bay and Eden, the current swell settings should continue through to this afternoon. At Dee Why the straight south is delivering shoulder to head high sets reasonably frequently. It doesn’t look all time, but the surface conditions were smooth to begin with. The wind call is for S-SE 10-15 kts later, so it’ll get messier at exposed spots as the day goes along.

Outlook is for the swell to still be here in much the same form tomorrow morning. I’m hoping to get out and about soon, so I’ll endeavor to follow up with another post later.

Have a good one!
