"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

As you were

Hello Friends,

Well harumph. Huey’s scarpered off and left us to our own devices this morning in Sydney. So… um… how ’bout that Slats, eh? Talk about not fade away. Surf? Oh yeah, well as I said it’s just about completely flat this morning thanks to a faint east windswell. The tide’s high at around lunchtime, so that won’t be improving things.  Wind wasn’t a factor as the sun rolled into view this morning and from the forecast it looks as though it probably won’t be getting too feisty later as it starts coming up from the NE.

The latest batch of forecast data isn’t looking all that special for most of the NSW coast it has to be said. Both the bits of the  southern ocean we care about and the Coral Sea swell nursery are looking like being rather quiet over the next week. I’m hoping it’ll pulse up slightly from the present dire flatness though and that as a consequence we’ll have at least a little something for the weekend. Waist to chest high would be good Huey…

Have yourself a great Thursday!
