Parting shots for Thursday from our old mate Huey

Hello Friends,

After being small and uninteresting pretty much most of the day, in the late afternoon the swell seemed to perk up. This morning it was coming from the south at around a metre at about 8-9 seconds. By lunchtime the average size at sea was up to two metres and the average period was creeping up toward the 10 second mark with some 12 sec stuff turning up as well.

The Bureau’s modelling shows 1.5m of swell for tomorrow morning, so it could be that this evening’s interesting stuff may not be around at the same levels for tomorrow’s early. Still, with any luck there’ll be waves to be had at south facing stretches.

Have a good evening one and all!
