Evening wrap: swell started, but not big…yet

Went for a late arvo splash at Longy. That wind is cold but the water’s still amazingly warm for July. Sets were pretty far apart and about the biggest set I saw might just have made it to chest high. So, if you didn’t get in, don’t feel too bad, it wasn’t all time or anything.

Outlook for tomorrow is for more wind, but the models are showing the swell picking up in the afternoon and kicking into gear big time on Friday morning. We could be looking at overhead to 1.5-2x overhead on biggest sets.

Not a bad sort of outlook I think you’d have to say. Have a good evening!
