Waves but no big stuff yet

Hello Friends,

Have to keep it brief this morning. At 0830 the swell was about the same size as yesterday morning. It has a tiny touch more east to it (ie S by SSE) and average swell height at sea is about a metre. The all important period setting has taken a hit though. It dropped from around 10 seconds to about 8. There’s still some 11 second stuff in amongst it, so sets at Dee Why beach were chest high. But there really wasn’t anything happening at the point.

We’re coming off a low tide at 0640 and heading toward a high at 1300.

The wind’s belting along right now, but it’s set to gradually decrease as the day goes along.

The forecast models are showing it as being small this morning but building toward dark and they’re still saying tomorrow should be an absolute belter.

Gotta jam, catchya later!
