"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Sunny start but waves are tiny

Hello Friends,

Looks as though there might be a brief window of opportunity this morning. At 0730 it was so small that the only person surfing at the Dee Why end of the beach was getting very occasional little things at the point. The beach was showing a line but it was too small to attract any interest. If the models are correct though, we could see a small increase in size later at south facing stretches. That is, it could go from knee high to waist high with the odd chest high bomb at Dee Why. I don’t think it’s a sure thing, because there’s not a lot showing on the MHL buoys and the wind is supposed to be around to the south with developing showers by late afternoon.

Tide was high at 0630 and will be low at noon.

Looks as though tomorrow will be southerly and with a bit of size at exposed spots. Throw in the expected dodgy weather and it isn’t really shaping as a fantastic surf opportunity. I’m hoping there may be something in the corners because swell heights are supposed to get into the two metre range.

Go well with your day and stay happy!
