Hello Friends,
Given the data showing on the MHL buoy this morning (a metre from the SE at 7 seconds), it was a pleasant surprise to see chest high plus sets coming into Dee Why around 0830. There’s some 12 second stuff in the mix, so perhaps that accounts for the bigger ones. Wind was out of the NNE at 10-15 kts by 0830 and the surface conditions were reflecting that fact at the Dee Why end of the beach where the ocean looked distinctly choppy.
We’re in for a partly cloudy Father’s Day with a high around 22.
From the shape of this morning’s swell models, it would seem we’re in for more or less of the same across the next week.
Have yourself a good one!
