"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Little waves around this morning, but…

Hello Friends,

High tide was swamping it early, but the little 9 second, 2 metre east windswell was looking to have fun potential. The issue is going to be the wind. It was light early, but the call is for a summery afternoon NE’r, so exposed spots that like east swell are probably going to get junky later. That said, there should be swell right through the day, so if you have to go this arvo, the semi-exposed north corners should still be reasonable enough – as long as your standards aren’t too exacting!

Bit of a rush for me this morning, so only taking a quick glance at the week ahead… basically looks like little stuff in the mornings ahead of onshores through to maybe Friday, then we’re back into a southerly regime – with all that implies about size (0k prospects) and wind (blergh prospects).

Have a good one!

Weather Situation

A low lies well off the northern New South Wales coast and a high pressure system is over the southwestern Tasman Sea. Fresh southerlies in the far north will weaken today as both systems gradually move east. Northerly winds will strengthen along the southern coast later today as a front and pre-frontal trough approach western NSW. Winds will further increase all along the coast on Wednesday and Thursday before the front comes as a westerly change later on Thursday.
