Nice morning at Dee Why

Hello Friends,

Nudge the swell direction just a bit to the east and an 8 second period south swell becomes more surfable. It’s a touch under the two metre mark out at sea, so it really hasn’t dropped dramatically since close of play yesterday. Skies were sunny to begin with and the breeze was lightly offshore. Feels almost like early autumn.

Tide’s high at 1045 and low at 1720.

Outlook is for the swell to fade away during the day, but with luck not to disappear altogether. Dee Why was showing waist to chest high on sets. Given the swell direction, I’d expect other similarly oriented stretches to be about the same or even a touch bigger at the best locations.

Have yourself a good one!
