"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Saturday requires keeness

Hello Friends,

Low energy levels for Saturday’s early risers, but it wasn’t flat – despite the highish tide still affecting it. Sets were into the waist to chest high range and pretty soft looking with it. Low tide’s at 1110 so as long as the forecast NE’r hasn’t pushed up to full speed, there could be a few more surf options about. By this afternoon though were due to have 15-20 of NE wind, so we’ll be back to those semi-protected north ends.

Swell is holding at about a metre at sea but overnight it’s moved more toward the ESE and the average period has bumped up to nearly 10 seconds, with some 12 sec stuff thrown in for good measure.

Beat the wind and get out there for a splash if you can, just remember to take your cruisy attitude!
