Messy Tuesday

Hello Friends,

Swell is out of the SE at close to 3 metres, but the average period is about 8 seconds, so it’s not too substantial looking at Dee Why. The wind is 15-20 kts from the same direction as the swell. Blergh.

Sadly, while the outlook is for a new and solid east swell to fill in from this morning, the wind looks like staying SE for another couple of days.

Ah well, have yourself a great Tuesday anyway!

Weather Situation
A low pressure system off the Queensland southeast coast is deepening and extending a trough along New South Wales north and central coast, while a high pressure system near Tasmania extends a ridge across the southern Tasman Sea. The low will move slowly east away from the coast tomorrow and Wednesday, as the high moves very slowly to the southeast strengthening the ridge across the western Tasman Sea.
