Honestly we couldn’t ask for much more than what was dished up, in Byron Bay today. Well ok maybe we could, as some of the banks have taken a bit of a serious flogging the last few days. But really after weeks of wind rain and cold, the sun came out, the swell was still solid enough and there was much rejoicing in the bay. It was just matter of making a choice. Some spots were shutting down, but still had plenty of size and very few people. For the logs, there were a few fun slides in the bay. There were also a few good peaks spread around the place, although the better the quality, the bigger the crowd.
