Lovely morning and some little waves to go with it

Hello Friends,

Fair number of folk in the water at Dee Why when I got around to checking it at 0900. Waves looked to be in the knee to waist range with the odd slightly bigger one. The swell looks SE and I’d guess it was around the metre mark at sea with an average period in the 8-9 second range.

Wind is set to be light and variable all day. Tide’s coming in to a high around 1145. The low will be just on dark at 1730.

The latest swell forecast models are all saying we’re in for flat conditions by tomorrow morning and that they are likely to persist for a couple days before we possibly get a little uptick into this morning’s range on Wednesday. The longer range call is pretty bleak. On current reckoning, it could be flat or near enough well into next week. Bah!

So get out and enjoy!
