The Goat’s Surf Forecast
Posted by: goat on August 3rd, 2012Surf forecast issued Friday 3 August 2012: Seven day outlook for Sydney:
There was a news feature that caught my eye the other day, headed “ G.O.A.T … Greatest Of All Time “ – I read with some interest (as you can imagine) but it turned out to be about Michael Phelps… easy mistake of course.
Anyhoo…Waves tomorrow then going down then coming up then going down – like a sea saw isn’t it
Saturday: in the 1-2 metre range South East
Sunday: going down from the westerlies
Monday: starting to come up from the south courtesy of the westerlies shrieking across the Bight and pulling round the corner and up the coast – only at places that like dead South swell – not much elsewhere
Tuesday: around 2-3 metres at places that like dead South swell – smaller elsewhere
Wednesday: ditto
Thursday: gone back down to not a lot.
Water temp’s around 18.
