Each year, Surfing Life Magazine takes a selection of boards from Australia’s best shapers, heads to an idyllic location to let loose high profile surfers in the creation of the Board Bible – the most respected surfboard product review in Australian surfing.

In early November, the Surfing Life team will take 3 incredible surfers, along with 24 boards, a photographer and a filmer to create the most high-profile Board Bible in the magazine’s history.

Surfing Life Magazine, The Perfect Wave and Telo Island Lodge want to invite you along on this trip of a lifetime.

Not only will you bask in the luxury that is Telo Island Lodge, surfing some of the most perfect and uncrowded waves in Indonesia, but you’ll be able to see an incredible magazine feature come to fruition, interact and surf with 3 of Australia’s best surfing talents, as well as checking out the latest and greatest boards on the market, even having a chance to surf them yourself.

So, who else is coming?

Blowing you away will be Ryan Callinan: 20 years of age, goofy, hailing from Newcastle, Ryan is one of Australia’s best exponents of power aerial style. He combines great natural balance with an instinctive sense of the radical yet playful angles in and over a wave. Underneath the flair is a rock hard base of carving and tube sense.

Drawing smooth lines will be Heath Joske: Coming from one of Australia’s saltiest families; his father Paul is a long term boardmaker and brother Sage is renowned for his experiments in wood. Natural-foot Heath is the power surfer of the family who for several years now has been building himself a quiet legend as one of the nation’s finest competitors and bigger wave chargers.

And coordinating the whole project, Mr Nick Carroll: An Australian legend, needing no introduction, with immense natural talent and power to burn.
