Waves for Weds

Hello Friends,

Bonus waves this morning. The forecast models really didn’t pick this nice little bump. There were a few shoulder high sets to be had at Dee Why thanks to the 10 second period of the 1.5 metre SSE swell.

Tide is high at 1015 and back to low at 1635. There’s quite a swing though and as a consequence it’ll be pretty full for a big chunk of the day.

Wind call is for light offshores in the morning before going onshore from the SE around lunchtime.

I’d get out there for a wave this morning if I could because all indications are that it’ll be more marginal for the next few days.

Have yourself a top old Wednesday.

Weather Situation
A broad low pressure trough lies over New South Wales. This trough will deepen during Friday as it moves to the Tasman Sea, with southerly winds developing along the coast as a low forms offshore. A weak high is expected to drift overhead on Saturday before the next cold front brings another southerly change later on Sunday.
